Course Content

To obtain a Certificate IV in Library and Information Services with TAFE Queensland East Coast, you’ll need to complete some or all of the following units of study successfully. Units may vary or change so check with the provider before enrolling.

Core Units

6 Core Units must be completed to attain this qualification.

  • Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements

Elective Units

9 Elective Units must be completed to attain this qualification.

  • Use established cataloguing tools

  • Assist customers to access information

  • Obtain information from external and networked sources

  • Search library and information databases

  • Present information on activities, events and public programs
