Course Overview

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be competent to an advanced user level in a wide range of information and communication technologies (ICT) including technical support, network administration, web technologies, software applications and digital media technologies.

A range of streams are available based on elective selections, including specific skills in multimedia and network administration. For students who opt to focus on network administration - the networking/hardware component of this course is based on the Cisco Networking Academy program including IT Essentials. You will be provided with access to world-class E-learning and resources from Cisco and Microsoft.

Completion of this course gives you a large range of up-to-date industry skills, including implementing and monitoring environmentally sustainable work practices; creating user documentation; installing and optimising operating system software; and running standard diagnostic tests.
