Course Overview

An entry level course, this program offers a specialiation in the role of assistant in nursing, in the area of acute care.

You will learn to provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of clients, including direct client contact, under supervision.

At the core of this couse, you will learn how to communicate and work in the health and community sector, recognise healthy body systems, comply with infection control policies and procedures, and interpret and apply medical terminology.
