Course Content

To obtain a Diploma of Fitness with Hunter TAFE, you’ll need to complete some or all of the following units of study successfully. Units may vary or change so check with the provider before enrolling.

Core Units

5 Core Units must be completed to attain this qualification.

  • Conduct health promotion activities

  • Apply evidence-based practice to exercise programs

  • Apply anatomy and physiology to advanced personal training

  • Instruct advanced exercise programs

  • Implement injury prevention strategies

Elective Units

13 Elective Units must be completed to attain this qualification.

Course Provider

Hunter TAFE is one of the largest and oldest TAFE institutes in NSW. It's one of 10 large institutes that provide TAFE coverage across NSW, and offers vocational training and higher education to Australian and international students from 15 campuses throughout the Hunter.
