Course Overview

This course aims to develop and enhance your skills in graphic art, graphic design, industrial design, product design and related design studies with this course.

You will learn about design concepts, and selecting the right techniques and media to communicate ideas.

You will also develop an understanding of graphic design techniques, colour application, typography and digital production. Design history, drawing, design of 3D forms and visual effects are also covered.

Your major studies will include design (including 2D, 3D and colour theory), design process and theory, graphic design, illustration, typography and creative thinking. This course is the building block to further study in graphic design, gaining you entry to the Diploma of Graphic Design.
