Course Overview

This course is an excellent entry point into designing for the fashion industry.

This course covers developing the skills and knowledge to: follow a design process, explore the world of colour, experiment and apply creative design to both 2D and 3D, use a domestic sewing machine to create fashion designs, draw technical fashion drawings, modify basic patterns to create basic styles, and produce creative fashion design concepts.

The course is very practical in nature and students will be required to complete some work at home and undertake research in their own time.
