If you are passionate about improving the quality of life for those living in residential care, this course is the one for you.

If you are passionate about improving the quality of life for those living in residential care and you want to work towards positive outcomes for members of your community, planning and running activities to enhance the emotional, social and physical wellbeing of others, this course is the one for you.

The course is designed to provide you with skills and knowledge specifically related to the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure and health activities for a range of clients in the community services sector, such as aged care. Subjects include planning programs, sociology, support for people with a variety of needs, physical health, effective communication, first aid and many more.

Your learning is complemented by 120 hours of industry placement throughout the duration of the course.
