Course Overview

This course improves your prospects of finding direct care roles among the residential and community disability settings.

You will receive an introduction to working with people with disabilities and learn how to provide services that not only aid, but empower your clients.

You will develop support strategies, plan and implement integration into the community for your clients and learn to work within the legal and ethical guidelines. The certificate will also build and develop your communication, advocacy and networking skills – to better assist your career projections and interactions.
