Payment Terms
For Payment Plans, the set terms of the direct debit agreements are either five months or 10 months, with the option of weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments. Additional charges will apply to students taking up this option, including a billing fee of 4.6 per cent of total course tuition costs and an administration fee of $10 (non-refundable).

Course Overview

Learn specialist skills in the field of timber joinery and gain a broad understanding of the building and construction industry.

If you’ve secured an apprenticeship in the off-site construction field and would like a formal qualification in joinery, this course is for you. Once you’ve completed the Certificate III in Joinery, you’ll have the skills and confidence to work as a joiner on small to large-scale building projects.

During the course, you'll learn about the manufacture of joinery components; preparation of surfaces for painting; installation and replacement of windows and doors; construction of stairs; installation of lining, panelling and moulding; measurements and calculations; scaffolding and working safely at heights; safe handling of carpentry tools and materials; levelling; workplace safety; and interpretation of plans and specifications.
