Course Overview

You will learn the practical skills and industry knowledge required to work as an Animal Technician in a medical research facility or similar establishment.

You will gain the knowledge of:

How to ensure the well being of animals. Routine animal husbandry. Basic non-surgical techniques. The use of anaesthesia in animals. Animal breeding.

Take advantage of undertaking compulsory work placement at a suitable animal facility.
