Course Overview

This course provides comprehensive training in all aspects of veterinary nursing.

You will learn how to provide safe and effective animal care, comply with infection control, assist with surgical and anaesthetic procedures and maintain equipment. You will learn how to perform veterinary reception duties, general administrative tasks, clinical pathology procedures and imaging routines.

You will conduct patient admissions and discharges, coordinate veterinary consults and theatre routines, and will also learn how to advise clients about nutrition, animal care, grooming and parasite control products.
