Course Overview

This course is a nationally recognised qualification under the AHC10 Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package.

You will learn to recognise plants, undertake planting tasks, use correct pruning techniques and collect plant specimens. You will also acquire retail skills relevant to a garden centre environment and undertake a mandatory work placement. Successful completion of the course will equip you for employment in positions such as nursery assistant, nursery worker, assistant to groundskeeper and assistant to a horticulturalist.
